The New England Patriots are taking on the Buffalo Bills at the Bills Stadium. It is a game between two divisional teams that are in opposite seasons. The Patriots are amongst the worst teams in the league, whereas the Bills haven’t had a spectacular season but they are still in the playoff race and have played some great football in recent weeks.

The Pats came into the game on the back of a three-point win over the Denver Broncos. They are 4-11 through 16 weeks of the season and hold the worst record in the AFC. The Bills on the other hand have won their last three games and are 9-6 so far this season. They have defeated the likes of the Kansas City Chiefs and the Dallas Cowboys during that stretch.

The Patriots have struggled offensively this season. Both their QBs, Mac Jones and Bailey Zappe have had poor seasons. Against the Bills, Zappe threw three interceptions in the first half and that helped the Bills build a commanding lead. One of those interceptions was returned for a touchdown by Bills’ Rasul Douglas.

Zappe replaced Jones in the middle of the season after a poor showing from the former first-round pick. However, Zappe hasn’t helped the Patriots as they have struggled to put points on the board.

Bailey Zappe and the New England Patriots have had a tough season. They are currently last in their division with a record of 4-11 and have gone through multiple quarterback changes during the campaign. They played their recent game against the Buffalo Bills with Zappe at center.

Zappe was selected by the Patriots in the 2022 NFL Draft. He was a fourth-round pick and was supposed to serve as Mac Jones’ backup. However, he got his chance this season due to poor performances from Jones, but Zappe hasn’t made the most of those chances. In 8 games played this season, he has 975 yards, 6 touchdowns and 4 interceptions.
