“Finally”: Titans select Malik Willis with No.86 pick in 2022 draft, NFL Twitter reacts to the surprising fall in his draft stock

One of the burning questions pre-draft was who would go higher, Kenny Pickett or Malik Willis? These were the only two notable quarterbacks from this year’s draft class and we have the answer now, however, it is a rather surprising one.
Kenny Pickett was drafted by the Pittsburgh Steelers in the first round with their 20th pick. Twitter went crazy after day one of the draft considering Malik Willis’ name was nowhere to be heard. Both quarterbacks were expected to be drafted in the first round itself. Nobody saw Willis falling this far back.
NFL fans are shocked to see Malik Willis getting picked so late in the draft

Many teams in the league such as the Seattle Seahawks do not have a good starting quarterback which left fans muzzled as to why they did not snag the QB in the first round. The Bucs were also another team that could have picked the quarterback up, granted that the team has Brady now, however, his future is uncertain, and drafting a quarterback who will be groomed by the GOAT is something that every front office would desire.
Needless to say, Twitter users were not the only ones that were shocked, Malik Willis did not even pack a suit for day 2 of the NFL draft as he was confident of being picked on day 1. His team had rented out a bowling alley for the second night of the draft in order to celebrate him getting drafted.
These are some of the top reactions from Twitter to Willis getting picked at 86.
