Mike Tannenbaum, a former NFL general manager suggested that the Dallas Cowboys should go for Davante Adams as a prospective trading option. Adams is presently playing for the Las Vegas Raiders and his team is not in good shape. They are 3-4 down and by the time of trading, they can go down by 3-5. In this case, the GM said that Dallas would have the perfect opportunity to have him on their team.

The Cowboys are in search of their first Super Bowl title in 28 years. They are thriving in desperation. The team is up by a 4-2 record and they are looking to add more wins to their tally. The inclusion of Adams will be a brilliant option for them as the team has suffered much in the red zone.

Nowadays, NFL teams are putting two wide receivers on the turf and it is adding some extra benefits. The Cowboys can follow that as well. They are presently having CeeDee Lamb, an extremely talented wide receiver who can change the dynamics of a game single-handedly. Now, if Adams gets inducted to this squad then the Dallas offense can become a threat to the opponents. This season, the Dallas team has been good defensively. But the offense has not shown their best except on one or two occasions. It seemed that the team was having a missing link and Adams could be that missing link.

Considering these factors, Mike Tannenbaum, speaking on ESPN’s “Get Up” ahead of Tuesday’s NFL trade deadline, said:

Let's go get another No. 1 (like how) it is (with) Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle (in Miami) and DeVonta Smith and A.J. Brown (in Philadelphia). A guy like Davante Adams will get them over the hump.
