National Football League (NFL) team the Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones got into a horrific car accident back in May of this year which could very well have killed him. Thankfully the Cowboys head managed to survive that and his life was spared.
Jerry Jones got into the car crash on the 4th of May,2022 when he hit head on with another car while driving. It has been suggested that the other car was making a U-Turn which prompted the crash.
New details emerge out of Jerry Jones’s car accident
It is a big relief that both the parties involved in the accident were left with minor injuries and things didn’t get serious. Jerry Jones suffered bumps in his head, chest and knee but didn’t cause any life threat.
The incident happened in Dallas on 4th May,2022 and Jones has eventually accepted that at the time of driving he wasn’t wearing a seatbelt. There has been a clip which the police have as evidence and in that an officer can be seen saying – “You had it buckled behind you but you weren’t wearing it.”
The 79-year-old was driving in his 2013 Lexus sedan car and was also over speeding as he was going at 45 mph in a 35 mph area. The opposite car tried to make a U – turn at the intersection point of Wolf Street and Harry Hines Boulevard and Jerry Jones car rammed into it.
