Jordan Alexander Love is a talented young quarterback who is regarded as an emerging star in the world of the NFL. The QB who was roped in by the Green Bay Packers in 2020 impressed a lot of people with his performances at the college level.
In the 2020 season, Love did not get any opportunity to prove himself during the regular as well as in the post-season as he was the team’s third quarterback after MVP Aaron Rodgers and Tim Boyle. In 2021, Packers got a few chances when Aaron Rodgers’ vaccination saga took center stage.

“The value hasn’t come close to what they would trade Jordan Love for”: Ian Rapoport
Love’s performance in those games was not too great. Recently, on the latest episode of The Pat McAfee Show, A.J Hawke, Pat himself, and Ian Rapoport discussed in detail what the future holds for the Green Bay QB.
“I think his future is bright, as far as his future with us, we’ll see how that goes,” Brian Gutekunst recently said about Love, and based on this statement, Pat asked Ian if the Packers are in a mood to trade Jordan. In reply, Ian claimed, “I do think they had some interest but I don’t think they had an offer that would make it so they had to move on from him.”
“The problem is, his value as a backup is real, that is an important thing. I guarantee someone would trade a fifth-rounder for Jordan Love, or even a fourth-rounder, but is that enough for the Packers? God forbid something happens to Aaron Rodgers, then what,” he further claimed.
However, Ian also stated that if someone gives the Packers a second or third rounder, then they might end up trading Love and look for a better backup. “The value hasn’t come close to what they would trade Love for,” Ian said. It will be interesting to see where Jordan finally ends up.
