Aaron Rodgers is one of the greatest talents to ever play the sport of football. The Green Bay Packers have seen moderate success with him under center over the years. However, the 39-year-old QB’s off-season antics are starting to irritate more and more people, including his own team’s front office. His off-season trade rumors are flying high around the league currently and many experts have expressed their opinions about the situation.
Recently, a long-time Packers reporter claimed that the Green Bay Packers are disgusted by the four-time league MVP Aaron Rodgers‘s antics. The Packers QB went on a four days darkness retreat in Oregon to get his mind cleared before making a decision about the future. It’s been more than two weeks since the 10-time Pro Bowler left the facility in Oregon, but the QB still hasn’t made a decision.
And now, with less than two weeks left for the new league year, many people believe that the Packers are losing their patience with Aaron Rodgers. In fact, according to the latest reports, the Packers are willing to move on from the 4-time All-Pro QB in favor of their former first-round draft pick Jordan Love. However, some other reports suggest the Green Bay-based franchise wants Rodgers back as long as he wants to stay with the team.
There are many contradicting stories about Aaron Rodgers’s future in the league, but the well-renowned NFL insider Adam Schefter believes Rodgers has narrowed his decision to just two options.
Adam Schefter believes it’s either a trade or retirement situation for Aaron Rodgers
The ESPN reporter and long-time NFL insider Adam Schefter claims that Aaron Rodgers will either request a trade to the New York Jets or retire in the off-season. Furthermore, he revealed that more and more signs point to him leaving Green Bay.
“My sense is there continues to be more and more signs about him leaving Green Bay,” Shefter said, via Bleacher Report. “And I think in the end, my sense is ultimately it will come down to whether he wants to play elsewhere, which would be really the New York Jets, or whether he wants to retire. To me, those are the two most logical options and the two most likely scenarios here. But again, we have not heard from Aaron Rodgers himself.
Adam Schefter is a reliable NFL insider, but recently Aaron Rodgers himself claimed that Schefter “don’t know sh*t” about how he operates. So, everybody has to wait to find out what decision Rodgers will make in the future until the former Super Bowl Champion announces his decision himself.
