It’s hard to run away from the past, and when that’s shrouded in a black spot like an assault allegation, even sprinting won’t help. A few weeks ago, during the tragic shooting incident at the Kansas City Chiefs Super Bowl victory parade, Jackson Mahomes emerged as a hero, helping people in need. That doesn’t mean people have forgotten his alleged awful deeds.
The brother of Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, Jackson, visited the T-Mobile Center in Kansas City along with his sister-in-law, Brittany Mahomes, and a couple of friends. They had bought tickets to watch Drake and J. Cole.
It was the famous rapper duo’s Kansas City leg of ‘It’s All a Blur Tour.’ Before his performance, Drake was out and about in town. He visited WyCo Vintage at 3535 Broadway Boulevard. It’s a place to buy some of the coolest and trendiest T-shirts, sneakers, and apparel. The Shops official Instagram shared photos of Drake’s visit.
Later, he went to the T-Mobile Center and performed some of his best hits. Privee Restaurant and Lounge held the official afterparty and concert of the tour on Saturday. Jackson Mahomes was seen arriving and leaving the establishment.
Jackson Mahomes’ faced heat online
The 23-year-old social media and YouTube creator came under fire once again for sharing photos of his visit to Drake’s concert. While people close to him are trying their best to stay as far as possible in the past, the internet remembers everything.
Last year, the court charged the younger Mahomes with sexual assault battery after a restaurant owner accused him of forcefully kissing her. However, that same accuser later refused to testify, so the charges were dropped because there was not enough evidence. But social media doesn’t care about the phrase ‘innocent until proven guilty.’
After Patrick won his third Super Bowl, Jackson and Brittany Mahomes visited a local Vegas nightclub. The security let Brittany through but stopped Jackson at the entrance. Now the reason is unknown, but many speculate it’s because of his famous lawsuit.
Jackson has had to endure online hate on several occasions. It got so bad that his mom, Randi Martin, had to step in. While appearing on the ‘Got it from my momma‘ podcast, Martin said,
You find out really who people are when you go through those trials. but it brought us together to support, to love, and to stay away from a lot of media and hate.Randi Mahomes said
Slowly but surely, Jackson is getting on with his life. But he hasn’t posted much on his other social media sites besides Instagram.
