Jalen Hurts and the Philadelphia Eagles suffered a heartbreaking loss against the Kansas City Chiefs in an all-time classic Super Bowl game on Sunday. During the game, one particular moment caught everyone’s attention as the Pro Bowl QB Jalen Hurts was seen keeping his head coach Nick Sirianni in check since he was trying to taunt the opponents.
The third-year quarterback had a stupendous outing as he managed to accumulate 374 total yards and 4 total TDs. But he still couldn’t guide his team over the victory line as the Patrick Mahomes-led Chiefs managed to win the game on the back of a last-minute field from their kicker Harrison Butker. But still, Hurts showed tremendous composure and impressed a lot of people during his first-ever Super Bowl appearance.
As an example of his leadership, one moment from the big championship game caught the attention of many eyes. During the final seconds of the first half of the game, Devonta Smith somehow caught a 30-plus yard bomb by Jalen Hurts in an impressive way. It was first ruled a catch by the on-field officials, but then the call got overturned after officials saw the replays.
When the officials were checking replays, the Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni prematurely taunted the Chiefs players since at that moment it looked like the call would be in favor of his team. The third-year QB Jalen Hurts had to keep his head coach in check by pulling his arm down. And as it turned out, the officials did overturn the original call and Smith was ruled out of bounds before he completed the catch.
Social media slams Eagles HC Nick Sirianni for immature taunting during the Super Bowl

NFL fans on social media thrashed the second-year head coach Nick Sirianni for acting like an immature frat boy during the big Super Bowl game. Usually, the coaches would be the ones who would shoulder the responsibility of keeping their young and immature players under control, since the adrenaline rush would be high for the players during the game.
But in this situation, the 24-year-old QB Jalen Hurts was the mature one as he had to control his 41-year-old head coach Sirianni, who was taunting the opponents, that too prematurely.
Nonetheless, Jalen Hurts, and the Eagles ended up losing to Andy Reid‘s Kansas City Chiefs in the Super Bowl and now will be back to square one as they’ll work this off-season on improving their team in hopes of getting back to the big game again next season.
