The Ohio State quarterback C.J. Stroud is a Top QB prospect in the upcoming 2023 NFL Draft. He is projected to be drafted within the Top 3 picks in the draft. Amidst this, the NFL analyst Brady Quinn accused the signal-caller of ghosting the Manning passing academy, which is currently run by Peyton, Eli, and Cooper Manning. Quinn claims that Stroud committed to being a counselor in the Manning camp but didn’t show up to the camp.

During a recent episode of the Pick Six Podcast, the former Cleveland Browns QB Brady Quinn claimed that ghosting the Mannings would be a cause of concern for a lot of NFL teams.

“I’ve been told that he committed to [the Manning Passing Academy] the night before, [and] just kind of ghosted them, didn’t show up,” Quinn said. “That’s football royalty. And when you do that, that’s going to set off some alarms for people like, ‘Hey man, that’s not how you conduct yourself, especially around the Manning family, or just in general if you’re going to be a franchise quarterback.’”

Brady Quinn went on to praise the 21-year-old kid’s athletic ability and Stroud’s leadership is what NFL teams are looking for in a franchise quarterback. However, many people including the former Super Bowl Champion Jalen Ramsey took issue with Quinn making a big deal of Stroud missing the Manning camp.

The new Miami Dolphins cornerback Jalen Ramsey took issue with Brady Quinn ‘red flagging’ the talented QB C.J. Stroud for missing the Manning camp just days ahead of the 2023 NFL Draft.

Ramsey called out the Fox Sports analyst Quinn in multiple tweets. “Smh don’t “owe” them folks NOTHING! This shid so l*me every year before the draft tryna “red flag” a kid for bs!” tweeted the Dolphins CB.

In another separate tweet, the 6-time Pro Bowl cornerback didn’t hold back as called the former first-round pick Quinn a bust and told him to shut up. “@Brady_Quinn, you was a bust, shut up! You shoulda went to a passing academy or 2,” tweeted Ramsey.

Nevertheless, C.J. Stroud is a prototypical NFL quarterback and is arguably the most pro-ready QB in the 2023 Draft class. This little incident will not affect his draft stock and he will certainly get drafted within the Top 5 picks. Besides, he could very well get selected as the first QB in the draft since some teams are worried about Bryce Young‘s size.
