Looking at Jameson’s credentials, it was obvious that several top teams would be interested in roping him in. As it turns out, at the 2022 NFL draft, Williams was drafted by the Detroit Lions in the very first round. However, many people were not amused with the way Jameson reacted after it was confirmed that he will play for the Lions.
Recently, Williams appeared on Complex Sports Live and made it absolutely clear that the people are drawing the wrong conclusion. In fact, when he was asked to comment on the general perception about his reaction upon getting drafted, Williams laughed and stated that he was just tired.

They traded up for a reason and trusted me and my playmaking ability. We gonna put everything together after my rehab and we’re gonna show the world,” Williams added, as reported by Chris Burke of TheAthletic.com
It will be interesting to see how Williams performs for the Lions in the coming season.
