“I am F***ing doing the best I can” Eagles center Jason Kelce is displeased with QBs yelling at their linesmen amidst Tom Brady’s recent outburst
Tom Brady and the Bucs suffered a loss at the hands of the Pittsburgh Steelers. Brady was getting sacked consistently in the first half and wasn’t receiving adequate protection in the pocket.
In frustration, Tom Brady was seen yelling at his O-linesmen just before the first half and the clip of the incident went viral on social media, which sparked a lot of outrage for Tom Brady who is already embroiled in many controversies this season. The linesmen were seen listening to Brady’s outburst without any resentment.
Eagles center Jason Kelce shared his views on the recent controversy in his brother’s podcast where he stated that he is displeased with the way QBs yell at their linesmen when they are the ones who are wrestling the defenders to protect them.
“Playing O-line is hard, and if there’s one thing I do not like, it is quarterbacks getting into offensive linemen,” Jason Kelce said. “I am doing the best I can, brother! Get the f— up out of my face!”
Jason Kelce later went on the rant about how difficult it is playing as a center and how much leniency is granted to the QBs as ‘roughing the passer’ from the referees.
“You f—ing kidding me? The last thing I want is a motherf—er that can’t get hit or it’s called roughing the passer to come up to me and tell me how to f—ing wrestle somebody every play.” Jason Kelce stated.
“If Tom Brady yells at me, I’m probably not gonna say anything:” Jason Kelce believes that Tom Brady has earned the right to yell at his O-linesmen
Tom Brady is known for his competitive nature and this has caused him to get frustrated mid-game by shouting at his players numerous times. Brady also broke many tablets mid-game due to an outburst. Although this certifies as borderline toxic behavior, the Bucs QB has Jason Kelce’s respect.
Jason Kelce admitted on the podcast that he doesn’t take anything from QBs, but seven-time Super Bowl winner Tom Brady is an exception.
“Listen, he’s Tom Brady. I can’t say nothing. Tom yells at me, I’m probably not gonna say nothing, neither. But playing O-line is hard, and if there’s one thing I do not like, it is quarterbacks getting into offensive linemen,” Jason Kelce said on the podcast.
Tom Brady addressed the viral clip issue and stated that it’s his job to motivate his teammates and it can get ugly sometimes. “It’s all good. I think I have a great rapport with all my teammates and they know that the only reason why I’m doing it is to try to motivate them and try to get us to a higher level,” Tom Brady stated.
