Joe Burrow and Patrick Mahomes are turning out to be the hottest rivalry in the NFL as both the QBs are defying expectations and breaking barriers. However, Burrow is turning out to be the real winner in this intense rivalry as he is 3-0 up against Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs.
The Bengals and Chiefs will face off again this week in the much-awaited AFC conference clash. This will be the repeat of last year’s game where the Bengals were victorious over the Chiefs in OT.
However, this time the Chiefs are out for revenge and will be looking to challenge for the Super Bowl, but Skip Bayless thinks that the Chiefs will fail yet again and Burrow will take a lead.
Bayless has loads of respect for the Chiefs. However, he thinks that the Bengals will sneak in a victory due to their talismanic QB Burrow. There is also an additional issue of Mahomes picking up an ankle injury, which can have adverse effects on his game.
On the other hand, Burrow and the Bengals are looking stronger than ever with their impressive offense. The game will be action-packed, but Bayless thinks the Bengals are the clear winners here.
“I have respect for the Chiefs defense, but I think Joe Burrow is poised to go in with that O-line and win it,” Skip Bayless stated on the Undisputed.
Skip Bayless believes Joe Burrow is ‘the guy’

Joe Burrow impressed everyone when the Bengals won against the Bills last week. His confidence is off the charts and the 26-year-old still believes that he can win the Super Bowl.
Skip Bayless agrees with his assessment and stated that if Burrow goes 4-0 up against the Chiefs, then he will be clear of Patrick Mahomes and be the undisputed best QB in the league.
However, for that to happen the Bengals will have to beat the Chiefs at Arrowhead Stadium, which sounds like a tough job for them. Burrow and co. are going into the game as clear underdogs and looking to shake up the NFL hierarchy for the second time in a row.
The upcoming Bengals-Chiefs game will be the repeat of the classic that happened last year where the Bengals sneaked in a victory at OT. Notably, that’s the only game ever that Patrick Mahomes has lost in OT. With so much riding on the game, it will be interesting to see who comes out on top.
