Following the Buffalo Bills‘ crushing loss against the struggling Denver Broncos on Monday Night Football, the team ended up firing their offensive coordinator Ken Dorsey. The Bills’ decision to fire Dorsey came after the team fell to a 5-5 record through the first 10 weeks of the regular season. And now, quarterback Josh Allen has taken the blame for the Bills firing their offensive coordinator.

During the Wednesday press conference ahead of their game against the New York Jets, Josh Allen told the reporter that if he and his offense had performed well, Dorsey would still be employed.

Without a doubt, and I take that very personally. It hurts a lot to see someone you care about go through a situation like that and to know that if I could have done more, if this offense could have done more, we wouldn't have had to do something like that.
Allen told via ESPN.

However, Allen went on to say that as much as he is hurting, the Bills still have a game to play in a few days and they can’t be paying too much attention to other stuff.

It's an unfortunate series of events that have led up to it, but, again, as much as you can sit here and feel sorry for yourself and you can sulk on what's going on, we got a game to prepare for and it's four days away, so we can't pay too much attention to it.

The Bills almost won their week 10 game against the Broncos on Monday, but a penalty, for having an extra man on the field, negated a missed field goal and gave the Broncos another shot to win the game, resulting in their 24-22 victory. The following morning, the Bills let go of Ken Dorsey following one and half season tenure.

Are Josh Allen and the Bills facing the Madden curse?

Earlier this year, EA Sports’ Madden franchise announced that the Bills quarterback Josh Allen would grace the cover of the Madden 24 game. And now, it seems like Allen and the Bills are already facing the wrath of the Madden curse.

Allen has been a “turnover machine” in the season so far and the Bills have already lost 5 games through the first 10 weeks of the season. Last year, they only lost 3 games for the entire season.

Furthermore, the Bills have lost many of their star players to injuries and are having one of the worst campaigns since 2018. So, it is fair to assume, that Allen and the Bills are suffering the wrath of the Madden curse, but they still have time to break the curse and turn around their season.
