Every football fan wants to see his team win the Super Bowl. The beginning of each season brings a lot of expectations, and this year is no different. For Maimi, this might well be the season they win and finally lift another Vince Lombardi trophy. Analyst Joy Taylor definitely has faith in the Dolphins if Tua Tagovailoa manages to keep himself injury-free.
“Super Bowl!” shouted Taylor while responding to Emmanuel Acho’s question about the Dolphins’ chances in the 2023 NFL. In the latest episode of FOX Sports 1, Speak Taylor claimed, “when you say Miami, you’re talkin Super Bowl.”
According to her, the Dolphins” can make it to the Super Bowl, and if they can make it, they can win!” Taylor believes that the “ceiling is high.” Then she turned her attention toward quarterback Tua Tagovailoa. The 25-year-old had a rough 2022 but managed to lead the league in passing rating. Taylor acknowledged his capabilities, saying he would benefit from the people around him.
However, Taylor highlighted Tagovailoa’s dismal injury record last season. She questioned, “Can he (Tua Tagovailoa) stay healthy for an entire season?”
Incidentally, Tagovailoa suffered back-to-back concussions last September. First against the Buffalo Bills, and then a few days later while facing the Cincinnati Bengals. The Doctors even advised the unfortunate Tagovailoa to consider retiring after the second hit. Doctor Bennet Omalu, in charge of Tagovailoa, said, “If you love your family and your life, gallantly walk away and find something else to do.”
Tua Tagovailoa played 13 games last season, in which the Dolphins recorded eight wins and lost five. Without the 6-foot-1 Hawain, they only won once in the remaining four games, finishing the season with a 9-8 record. Meanwhile, Tua Tagovailoa’s wife, Annah Gore, plays a very important part in his success.

Can Tua Tagovailoa lead the Miami Dolphins to the Super Bowl and prove Joy Taylor correct?

Keeping Tua Tagovailoa out of harm’s way will be a tough proposition in a contact sport like football. Quarterbacks are always one of the primary targets on the field, as they are the ones who dictate the majority of the game.
Former Steeler Michael Vick has a suggestion for Tagovailoa on how to avoid getting pummeled by opponents. The 13-year NFL veteran, who himself was a quarterback, knows a thing or two about taking a hit. “Get a little bit bigger. Get stronger,” said Vick while talking to FOX. “There’s nothing wrong with picking up another 10 or 15 pounds.”
More importantly, he will have receiver Tyreek Hill beside him to guide him all the way. Hill has set a target of 2000 receiving yards. Besides him, there is Jaylen Waddle, ready to step up at any time. However, as Joy Taylor said, Tagovailoa needs to be fit for the Dolphins to have a chance of reaching the Super Bowl.
