Justin Fields has had it with the media. The quarterback for the Chicago Bears did not hold back in his latest press conference after the team’s dominant victory against the Arizona Cardinals. Fields was addressing the reporters while he was confronted with a rather unusual question that had more to do with the coaching staff than him.

The question that irked him was pertaining to the Chicago Bears’ playbook. The reporter wanted to know if the team had a ‘jumbo package’ of sorts in their playbook similar to the Philadelphia Eagles, who run a sequence of plays and keep reverting to plays like the tush push when close to the red zone.

The reporter wanted to know if the Bears had a play like that which had a guaranteed success rate, for situations when they were at the 1-yard line. Well, it is safe to say that Justin Fields was not having it with him because he started his response off by stating,

Yea, we do, we just did not run it. That's all I got to say.

Justin Fields is no longer shying away from giving fitting replies to ridiculous questions

Fields continued, and stated:

The day I get a positive question from you is the day that I'mma be happy.

He went ahead and then gave him a run down of a play with Roschon Johnson that often gives them a guaranteed yard and has a higher success rate but did not work against the Cardinals. Fields kept it straight and did not understand the point of the reporter asking him such a question especially after the Bears had dominated the Cardinals.

Fields has begun to get more and more comfortable when he is faced with such questions or undue criticism. Initially, he used to keep his responses professional and let things slide, but now, he has begun to put reporters in check when they attempt to get too smart with him or cross a boundary.

The only reason he was irked by this question was because it was more relevant to the coaching staff and personnel rather than the quarterback. It was obvious, yet the reporter went ahead and asked him this question anyway.

With just two more games left to go this season, the Bears are not completely out of the playoff picture. The team will need to hope the Vikings and Packers lose either one of their upcoming games while winning all the games they have remaining.
