Former NFL tight end Kevin Ware has been indicted on some serious charges of murder and having tampered with the body of the victim. The former athlete has not played a game since 2004 in the NFL, he faces additional charges such as having tampered with the evidence. In this case, Ware reportedly tampered with the corpse of the victim to ensure there were no traces that linked her death to him.
Kevin Ware is indicted for the murder of his girlfriend, Taylor Pomaski. She was found dead in Texas in 2021, she was last seen in April 2021 at a party that she organized at her residence. It was reported that at this party, Taylor Pomaski and Kevin Ware got into a heated war of words and due to that Ware was a prime suspect in the investigation of her initial disappearance.

Kevin Ware, 41 was indicted by a grand jury for murder and tampering with the evidence in the death of Taylor Pomaski, aged 29. Harris Country District Attorney Kim Ogg stated in a press release. The argument between Ware and Pomaski got violent at the party organized by her and she disappeared shortly after this spat.
Her remains were found in May outside Houston in December. Investigators had suspicions of foul play in her disappearance from the start as after hearing the testimonials of her close friends and relatives, they suspected Ware as he was an abusive person in the relationship.
Taylor Pomaski’s ex-boyfriend claimed that she reached out to him a lot and revealed that she was in an abusive relationship. “Taylor reached out to me many times throughout the month of April 2021, we were talking about her getting out of there, getting back on her feet, getting herself set, and stabilized,” Eric Zuleger, her ex stated.
No official cause or manner of death has been made public and following the commencement of the investigation in 2021, the court is still conducting its proceedings. Kevin Ware now risks facing 15 years to an entire lifetime behind bars. This is yet another unfortunate story of how a talented athlete with so much potential ended up throwing it all away.
Kevin Ware is currently jailed in Montgomery County, North Houston. He faces other cases such as possession of controlled substances, and unlawful possession of a firearm and has been charged for the same. The tight end played for the Washington Commanders and the San Francisco 49ers during his career.
