Kirk Cousins is one of the few quarterbacks who despite putting up impressive numbers on the board and remaining consistent has not had much success in the NFL as a Minnesota Viking. Sure, he has gotten richer but only in his bank account, his win column is yet to get a much-needed boost. Ahead of the upcoming season, he is one of the players who could be getting overlooked as he is underrated because his team tends to let him down during clutch moments.
Though we know Cousins as the quarterback, off the field he is not someone who makes a lot of noise and is a family man. He is happily married to Julie Cousins. The two tied the knot in June 2014 and they dated for a while before taking the plunge, Captain Kirk went out for a year and a half before officially attempting to secure his first ring.

Captain Kirk had one of the most bizarre ideas on how to propose to Julie. He got in contact with the congressmen who represented his home district and asked him if it was possible to use the balcony of the Speaker of the house to propose. Once Congressman approved he went for it!
The quarterback had an idea if he wanted things to work out, a clear sunset and sky for his fiance but as fate would have it he got gloomy weather with a lot of cranes in the background. It was still not bad! And the most important thing is that she said yes!
The duo is now happily married and has a son, Cooper Cousins, and a lovely dog named Bentley. The Cousins are very generous people who believe in giving back and that explains their contributions toward charity and community development purposes.
Julie is an elementary teacher, she graduated from the University of Georgia and has two siblings, Scott and Steve Hampton. What is surprising about her is that she has always loved the idea of teaching and wanted to be an academic scholar from day 1. The Cousins are relatively private people as the school Julie is currently teaching at remains a mystery.
