The Pittsburgh Steelers are currently preparing for their week 7 game against the Los Angeles Rams, which is scheduled to take place on Sunday. The Steelers led by their former first-round pick Kenny Pickett are looking to improve their 3-2 record by securing a victory this weekend.

Amidst this situation, Pittsburgh’s star linebacker Kwon Alexander blasts the league over their soft penalties while claiming that the NFL is turning into flag football.

They're making it hard for us. I don't really know what the game is coming to, for real. I don't know how to stop from tackling someone around the waist. I give it about three or four years and I think they're going to go to flag. How else are you going to tackle?

Alexander has been blasting the league for several months now. Back in August, Kwon Alexander was slammed with a massive $43,709 fine for unnecessary roughness against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in their preseason matchup. Many people including Alexander thought the fine was unfair since his tackle on running back Chase Edmonds looked like a regulation one.

And now, Alexander shares a hot take that the league is becoming too soft nowadays and the refs are handing out a lot of penalties. Besides, the Steelers linebacker also trashed the league for considering banning the hip-drop tackles from next season.

On the sporting side of things, Alexander would be now focused on the Rams, who the Pittsburgh-based football team will go against in their week 7 game. Alexander and the Steelers’ defense would look to once again put on a great show this weekend.

The Steelers linebacker Kwon Alexander recently blasted the NFL and said that the league is becoming very soft nowadays. Well, he isn’t the only one who is calling out the league over that problem.

The New England Patriots legend Tom Brady also shared a similar take in a recent episode of his “Let’s Go!” podcast. Brady said that the officials, in general, are calling way too many penalties that affect the game in a big way.

The 15-time Pro Bowler also said that the league would soon turn into flag football and take the physical aspect away from the game. Apart from Brady and Alexander, many fans also seem to share the same sentiment.
