Two of the strongest contending teams across the league, the San Francisco 49ers and Baltimore Ravens, are set to face each other on Monday, which, as many believe, will be a Super Bowl preview. The 49ers are entering week 16 with a 6-game winning streak, while the Ravens have a 4-game winning streak, and both are standing at 11-3.

As the 49ers will host the Ravens, they are likely to get the home-game advantage. However, Ravens safety Kyle Hamilton thinks otherwise. In a recent conversation with ESPN’s Jamison Hensley, Hamilton claimed his team was the best in the league.

We feel a little disrespected by that. I feel like we are the best team in the league and we have an opportunity in front of the country to show it.
Hamilton said on Wednesday.

Hamilton isn’t entirely wrong, as the Ravens are certainly one of the strongest teams across the league; however, the level of dominance that the 49ers have shown, especially their offense, is exceptional, and that’s what argues them to be stronger.

The 49ers are leading the league in point differential with +191, the second-best offense, and the ninth-best defense. The Monday Night Football game will surely be the most exciting and hyped-up match, especially when both the 49ers and the Ravens are Super Bowl-contending teams.

Ravens’ unusual underdog status

This game on Monday will see the John Harbaugh-led Ravens as underdogs for the second time this season. Earlier in week 2, they played as underdogs against the Cincinnati Bengals and came out as the winner.

However, the players of the Ravens surely don’t consider themselves as underdogs.

I was surprised to see that. And hopefully, some people lose some money betting with them and make some money better with us.
As Ravens cornerback Marlon Humphrey said

Well, the Ravens may feel a bit strange about being underdogs, but perhaps this might work in their favor. As previously, when they were named underdogs, they proved that wrong and came out as big dogs.
