Lamar Jackson expresses his DISGUST with a LeBron James meme over ‘ridiculous’ rumors involving his agent

Lamar Jackson is one of the best young quarterbacks in the league currently. The 26-year-old QB is also one of the few players in the NFL who doesn’t have an agent representing them. Some people believe that not having a professional agent overseeing his contract talks might be the reason why the quarterback is struggling to get a long-term deal done with the Baltimore Ravens.
According to reports, there’s a massive difference in what Lamar Jackson is asking and what the Ravens are willing to provide in terms of long-time guaranteed money. But, both parties are trying to reach a middle ground in their talks. Amidst this situation, Jackson, not having an agent, has become the talking point of sports media in recent times.
In that trend, NFL analysts Mike Florio and Chris Simms have now claimed that the former league MVP Jackson missed out on a massive deal since he doesn’t have a professional agent. “When it’s just the player and a family member running the show, it’s harder to replicate, it’s impossible to replicate, they can’t compete with what the best firms do, what the experience firms do,” said Florio in a recent episode of his show Pro Football Talk on NBC Sports.

Furthermore, Mike Florio on his show continued by saying, “I’m not saying just go out and hire any old agent, hire one of the best QB agents out there and it doesn’t take many phone calls to figure out who they are and he’d have a contract by now and it’s contract he’d be happy with, this wouldn’t be an issue, and by the way, he’d possibly have other contracts he’d be happy with, like with a shoe contract he’d be happy with.”
Lamar Jackson, who represents himself as an agent and is managed by his mother Felicia Jones, was disgusted by Florio’s comments about how Jackson could do better if he had an agent instead of representing himself with the help of his mother.
The 2-time Pro Bowler simply reacted with a gif of NBA legend LeBron James reacting with disgust. He didn’t deny the rumors about him missing out on a shoe deal due to not having an agent, but his reaction implies it’s false rumors.
Nevertheless, the former All-Pro quarterback is just trying to get a contract extension done with the Baltimore Ravens. If he wasn’t able to do so this season, the dual-threat QB would be franchise tagged by the Baltimore-based franchise in hopes of getting a long-term deal done in the future.
