As the regular season of the NFL 2023-24 is accelerating toward the end, the MVP discussions among the analysts are getting heated. The latest to join the argument is LeSean McCoy. The former Philadelphia Eagles man and the present-day analyst gave his flowers to Tyreek Hill. The wide receiver of the Miami Dolphins is presently at his career-best. Hence, Shady McCoy did not think twice to consider him the best for the MVP award.

However, he presided over his choice over the likes of both Brock Purdy and Dak Prescott. The present leader and the second boy in the quarterbacks’ race. That created a huge hue and cry among the fans. Especially among the Dallas Cowboys fans. For the first time in eight years, Dak’s name is hitting the MVP discussion. This season, the Cowboys have produced effective performances throughout the season. His last came against the Seattle Seahawks where he helped his team from coming back from behind. The performance against the Philadelphia Eagles also could have won the game for his team, however, two decisions got overturned. On Sunday Night, the Eagles will have a faceoff against the Cowboys again. This time, the Cowboys will host them.

Ahead of the game, McCoy triggered the controversy once again. The Eagles’ man’s denial of Prescott being the best angered the fans. The analyst said on Speak on FS1:

When I look at Tyreek Hill, he is doing historical things. He is doing things we have not seen before. He is doing things that people like Calvin Johnson would not do. Right now to this day, he has 12 touchdowns and 1481 yards. He is bowling out. He is gotta make a big difference.

Fans do not like LeSean McCoy’s comparison between Dak Prescott and Tyreek Hill

Compared Prescott with Tyreek Hill, the analyst said that Hill is ahead of the QB despite both having tremendous performances throughout the season. The reason for him was clear. Dak is a QB and QBs are expected to do the unexpected. While Hill being a WR, has done unimaginable stuff. That puts Hill over Prescott.

He further added:

Dak is having a phenomenal season so far, but he has not blown me out like Tyreek did.
