“No one was this mad when Farve was like this to Rodgers”- NFL fans angry over Gardner-Johnson ‘Hope lil bra take yo job’ comment on Ryan Tannehill

CJ Gardner and Ryan Tannehill
Ryan Timothy Tannehill III has made a name for himself at the highest level. The star quarterback was roped in by the Miami Dolphins into their squad back in the 2012 NFL Draft. After spending a considerable amount of time with the franchise, he went to the Titans back in 2019 and since then, he has been an integral part of their setup.
Recently, Ryan was all over the internet when he delivered what many are calling an “unsavory response” when he was asked if he would mentor young Titans QB Malik Willis. “That’s part of being in a quarterback room, in the same room. We’re competing against each other, we’re watching the same tape, we’re doing the same drills,” Tannehill said and went on to add that it isn’t his job to mentor the young quarterback.

“Your Tweet would be different if the races were reversed”: NFL fans lash out at CJ Gardner for his comments on Ryan Tannehill

“I don’t think it’s my job to mentor him, but if he learns from me along the way, then that’s a great thing,” he had added. His comments went viral in no time and a lot of people were pleased with his choice of words. Moreover, now CJ-Gardner Johnson has added more fuel to the fire with his comments on Ryan.
“Hope lil bra take yo job,” CJ Tweeted while sharing the video in which Ryan can be seen saying that it’s not his job to guide and mentor Willis. As expected, Twitter went wild as soon as CJ’s tweet started making rounds on social media.
Tannehill’s words have been interpreted in different ways by different people. While on one side we have fans and experts who have lashed out at Ryan for not being a good teammate, many have opined that he was just being truthful and whatever he said actually makes a lot of sense.
After a rather dry 2021 season, and after the Willis controversy, Ryan would be under pressure to perform as per expectations otherwise, the Titans might opt to go with Willis as their QB in the coming season.
