Odell Beckham Jr still continues to be a free agent, and with only about a month to go for the NFL regular season to kick off, questions have started to arise as to where the wide receiver would sign for the upcoming season. Leading NFL analyst, Shannon Sharpe names his pick as to where the wide receiver should sign for the next season.

Odell Beckham Jr made a stunning return to the league last season, winning the Super Bowl with the Rams and saw his career go uphill from the trough during his time with the Cleveland Browns.

In the popular podcast show hosted by Skip Bayless and Shannon Sharpe, the latter claimed that Odell Beckham Jr could be potentially looked at as the best choice for the Cowboys in their wide receiving position ahead of Ceedee Lamb.

Sharpe went on to claim that Odell Beckham Jr is undoubtedly better than Ceedee Lamb, who is currently their first choice wide receiver. He also referred to the fact that Odell Beckham Jr had started the Super Bowl 2022 clash as if to go on and win the MVP award of the titular fixture.

“He’s better than CeeDee (Lamb). They would rather have Odell… Had he not gotten hurt, we already know how this story would end. It still is. It’s really not that complicated.”

“(Even) the defensive players saying that Odell Beckham is better than Ceedee Lamb. All of a sudden CeeDee Lamb, just because he wears a Cowboys jersey, just because it’s the number 88 Cowboys jersey, that doesn’t make him Michael Irving. That doesn’t make him Drew Pearson. Okay, you the player? Make the number your own.”

Now it remains to be seen whether the Cowboys take up Shannon Sharpe’s advice and make an offer for Odell Beckham Jr. The 29-year-old however, has no cause to worry with a number of NFL teams currently in need of a premier wide receiver ahead of the new season.
