“SHOCKING”: Offensive tackle Duane Brown arrested at LA Airport on gun possession charge

Duane Brown
Duane Anthony Brown has made a name for himself at the highest level. The vastly experienced offensive tackle played college football at Virginia Tech, and impressed a lot of people with his performances. He was roped by the Houston Texans back in 2008 and he stayed with them for almost a decade.
Duane was then added to the Seahawks’ roster back in 2017 but that stint came to an end in 2021 and he is now a free agent. This time, Duane has made the headlines for all the wrong reasons.
Duane Brown will appear at LA Superior Court on charges of misdemeanor

Brown was recently arrested at the Los Angeles International Airport for allegedly carrying a concealed weapon. As reported by ESPN, Brown was later released after he posted a $10,000 bond. Duane would now have to appear at the Los Angeles Superior Court on the charges of misdemeanor.
As reported by TMZ, the gun was found by airport security professionals in Duane’s luggage. Initial reports stated that the recovered gun was not loaded. At the time when the gun laws in America are under scrutiny, when school and public shootings are on a rise, the gun recovery will raise a lot of questions.
It is a no-brainer that carrying a concealed weapon at the airport isn’t the smartest of the ideas for anyone and when you are an individual who is well-known, such incidents are really only going to negatively affect your public image to a massive extent. More details about the case are awaited.
