Patrick Mahomes just had one of the best seasons of his life after leading the Kansas City Chiefs to another Super Bowl victory. The Chiefs QB is currently regarded as the best QB in the league.
The NFL MVP winner was floored by another great player’s performance quite recently. The WNBA has been one of the most trending leagues in the country currently. Recently, the Iowa Hawkeyes were up against the South Carolina Gamecocks where WNBA star Caitlin Clark absolutely impressed with her magnetic performance.
Clark, the Naismith player of the year, scored 41 points against Carolina to mark an impressive comeback. What’s even better is that the Gamecocks were undefeated throughout the season and Clark broke that streak with her exceptional performance.
Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes was astonished after the great performance by Clark and had to show his appreciation on Twitter. “Let’s gooooo!!!” Mahomes stated on Twitter.
The Chiefs QB is also the best in the league. Therefore, it was quite obvious that the greatness of Clark would be recognized by the greatness of Mahomes.
Caitlin Clark has had a standout season this year. The 21-year old is the first player ever in WNBA history to score over 40 points in back to back games in the championship. Clark recorded eight assists and six rebounds in the Elite 8 win over Louisville last weekend.

Caitlin Clark’s performance in the WNBA was highly inspiring for everyone, even for the great Patrick Mahomes. However, the Chiefs QB will be looking to do the same after winning back to back Super Bowls next season.
The Chiefs defeated the Eagles last season to win the iconic Lombardi Trophy. They achieved the feat with an injured Mahomes and also played without a star WR in the team.
However, that will probably change this season as the Chiefs will be looking to sign a quality WR in the offseason and strengthen their already overpowered squad. With Patrick Mahomes at the helm of things and the support of TE Travis Kelce and a possible star WR, the Chiefs can turn out to be a force to be reckoned with.
