Patrick Mahomes is on his way to becoming an all-time great in the NFL. The QB has been dominating since he was drafted and has led his team to 2 Super Bowl wins.

The NFL MVP winner is currently the best player of this generation. Therefore, it was quite marvelous when greatness recognizes greatness. The NBA playoffs are currently the biggest sporting stage in the country and Stephen Curry is one of the biggest players in the basketball league.

The greatness of Stephen Curry has been unfiltered for many seasons now. The NBA legend keeps finding ways to pull out his team from near-impossible conditions. A similar thing happened recently when the Golden State Warriors found themselves in a precarious position against the Sacramento Kings. It was a do-or-die game for them and Steph Curry did what he does best.

‘The Chef’ dropped 50 points on the Kings and showed them who the real kings are. The performance was exceptional and Mahomes couldn’t stop himself from applauding his greatness.

It was a typical ‘class recognizes class moment’ where the Kansas City Chiefs QB was absolutely floored by Steph’s capabilities. Mahomes also put out another Tweet for the Warriors legend. “Go crazy then! Steph Curry,” Patrick Mahomes stated on Twitter.

Patrick Mahomes is not alien to exceptional performances

The previous NFL season is evidence of the greatness of Patrick Mahomes and how he has the potential to be the next GOAT. The 27-year-old QB was counted out by many at the start of the season after the departure of WR Tyreek Hill to the Miami Dolphins. However, the exceptional QB didn’t lose hope and led his team to the Super Bowl and eventually lifted the Lombardi Trophy against the Philadelphia Eagles.

Mahomes’ performance during the game was one of his best, if not the best. The Chiefs QB played the game with an injured ankle and still went home with the Super Bowl MVP award. That’s the greatness of Patrick Mahomes.

Now the Chiefs gear up again to do the same this year and be back-to-back Super Bowl champions, something that is not done often in this competitive league. The Chiefs have made some minor improvements to their almost-perfect squad and are prepared to take on the NFL next season.
