After leading the Kansas City Chiefs to another nominal Super Bowl victory, elite quarterback Patrick Mahomes seems to be spending quality time with his family. He was spotted soaking in the sun and having the time of his life in Mexico. Mahomes, his wife Brittany Mahomes, and their two children seem to have enjoyed their time in the off-season. 

The 2023-24 NFL season was truly a rollercoaster ride for him as well as the whole Chiefs. What started with a loss against the Detroit Lions concluded with them becoming one of the only two teams in recent NFL memory to win back-to-back Vince Lombardi Trophy.

As promised, the three-time Super Bowl champion took his entire Super Bowl teammates to a lavish celebration in Sin City. Earlier, they were occupied with the preparation of the big game. But now that Mahomes doesn’t have any professional commitments, he has turned his attention to his family.

Seeing Mahomes’ on his vacation in Mexico can easily be regarded as his ‘Dad Bod’ era– going shirtless near the pool as he gave rest to his legs and back. Though he called it a ‘bad angle,’ the Chiefs’ star quarterback has never appeared in a model or bodybuilder shape. Perhaps these extra pounds during the offseason are what his body needs to soften the blows. 

How is Brittany Mahomes balancing recovery and quality time with Patrick Mahomes and kids?

Just a few days ago, Mahomes’ better half revealed that she sustained a concerning injury to her back. This happened during the Mahomes family’s visit to Mexico. She shared the news as a warning to her fellow mothers emphasizing to take care of pelvic floor health post-child-birth.

Despite the injury, she hasn’t cut short her trip to Mexico. This was because she believed in spending quality time with her loved ones. She will debut as SI’s swimsuit model, and Mahomes will start training camp. Once the NFL season starts, Patrick Mahomes will focus on winning another ring. Hence, Brittany decided not to cut short the trip.
