The former Indianapolis Colts quarterback tried to give David Beckham a lesson in making quarterback throws, something which the latter picked up extremely quickly. Beckham made a series of good passes for Manning and earned praise from the quarterback.

“That’s good!” Manning declared. “Good grip! I like the high release!” Manning was also quick to point out that Beckham’s passes weren’t perfect, with the ball wobbling in the air. However, he saw the funny side of it, claiming that the “wobbly pass” was his invention after all.

Manning was repeatedly criticised for his passing technique during his playing days, but hardly did it seem to bother the 2-time Super Bowl champion as his passes had impeccable accuracy. Beckham also managed to surprise his NFL compatriot with his receiving skills with the latter commending the former Real Madrid star for his “soft hands.”

After a point in time, the duo changed sports with David Beckham trying to give Peyton a taste of European football this time, to which the the latter did not seem very incumbent. “I can’t do his sport,” Manning had a bland response. However, it is still great to see two stalwarts of different sports get together and try their hand at various sports.
