Twitter was pretty impressed with Pickens for not giving up on the play after he wasn’t able to hold on to the ball thrown his way. Pickens chased the ball down until he caught it. Never give up is something the blue collar Pittsburgh Steelers faithful can get behind. Pickens has made a fan in fellow Steelers receiver Chase Claypool who has said that Pickens will be the ‘best rookie receiver in the NFL’.

Steelers who will be without Ju Ju Smith Schuster who joined the Kansas City Chiefs, are hoping that the duo of Pickens teaming up with Chase Claypool will help the team make an impact, as a new era begins in the Steel City after their franchise QB Ben Rothlisberger walked off into the sunset.

Pickens and Claypool will be catching passes from a Quarterback room consisting Mitchell Trubisky, Steelers 1st round pick Kenny Pickett and Mason Rudolph.
