The photographer whom Davante Adams shoved after a game has filed a lawsuit against the Raiders defender as well as the team. Not just that, though; according to the Missouri Court, the Kansas City Chiefs, Jackson County Sports Complex Authority, and Landmark Events Staffing are also part of it.
Park Zebley, a University of Missouri student, filed the lawsuit in the Circuit Court of Jackson County, claiming that he had suffered a concussion because of the knock. Adams knocking down Zebley was caught on camera live after he and the Raiders lost to the Chiefs 30-29 on October 10 last year. Zebely was carrying camera equipment for a local production house to cover the game.
Adams has been charged with misdemeanor assault, but Zebely wants harsher punishment imposed against him: “A municipal misdemeanor battery charge is not sufficient.” He said he wants justice, and one cannot just walk off, shove someone out of the way, and pretend nothing ever happened.
Adams issued an apology on Twitter about the incident, later deleted. He said he wasn’t too happy with the game’s result and while heading for the locker room he knocked down Zebley. He emphasized that he felt really horrible about the incident.
The lawsuit that Zebely filed claims that the on-ground authority failed to provide proper security. According to the court, the Raiders have been charged with negligent supervision.
In a recent interview on Thursday prior to the lawsuit being filed, Adams said,” I don’t want to say, I didn’t learn from it because that makes it sound like I’m not remorseful and stuff like that; it was just an instance.”
Zebley received death threats after the incident with Adams

The lawsuit also mentioned that Zebley received death threats from Raiders fans when his identity became public. In the days that followed, the media and various fans of the Las Vegas Raiders discovered Zebley’s identity; Circulated his contact information! made death threats against him, as well as other generally vile comments,” according to the Star.
Zebley’s attorney, Dan Curry, revealed that his client is seeking compensation because of all he had to go through due to the incident. So far, the NFL has not issued any punishment for the Raiders players. Adams will appear in court on June 26 for the hearing.
