“He had the Michael Jordan effect,” Raiders’ Davante Adams makes a SHOCKING comparison between ex-teammate Aaron Rodgers and NBA great

The Green Bay Packers suffered a huge loss ahead of the start of the 2022 NFL season, as they lost one of their premier wide receivers in the form of Davante Adams. The 28-year-old was traded to the Las Vegas Raiders after spending 8 years at the franchise, in which he had an exceptional connection with Aaron Rodgers.

However, following his move to the Raiders, the wide receiver has not forgotten his long-time partner in crime, as he heaped praises on the 38-year-old and the effect he had on the Packers. Adams claimed that in his opinion, Aaron Rodgers is the best quarterback in the NFL, which in itself is a huge statement of praise.

He did not hold himself back there and continued by comparing him with NBA great Michael Jordan, who is one of the GOATs of basketball. Davante Adams felt that his quarterback had the same effect on the team as Jordan did, wherein he made his teammates better, whenever they went out to play with him.

“He’s the best quarterback, in my opinion, to play this game,” Adams said of his former teammate while speaking on the Pivot podcast. “He had the Michael Jordan effect. … (He’s) gonna make you play better … just by being on the field.”

Adams also highlighted his motive for making the decision to jump ship to the Raiders for a new season stating that he wanted to win the Super Bowl with the franchise, something he has not won so far in his career.
