After a stellar performance against the Jacksonville Jaguars in week 15, quarterback Lamar Jackson has improved to an 11-3 standing, leading the AFC North division. As the quarterback was already in the MVP race, after this game, his odds have improved to +500.

According to Fox Sports, quarterback Jackson is averaging the passing yards per game of 221.8 and has total passing yards of 3,105. He is ranked fourth in the league with 7.7 passing yards per attempt and has accounted for 22 of the Ravens’ 41 touchdowns by the offense.

Considering the numbers and his phenomenal performance against the Jaguars in week 15, head coach John Harbaugh couldn’t be more proud as he asserted Jackson as the best quarterback across the league.

I have said this before and I believe he [Lamar Jackson] is the best quarterback in the National Football League. I've said it many times before and he continues to prove it. Proves me right.

In Sunday’s game against the Jaguars, Jackson completed 14 out of his 24 attempts for 171 yards along with one touchdown and one interception. He also added 97 rushing yards on 12 carries. Jackson may not be the MVP favorite or have the same stats as San Francisco 49ers’ QB Brock Purdy, but he sure is already the Most Valuable Player in the league.

Ravens dominate Jaguars with explosive passing game

Throughout this season, the Baltimore Ravens have come off a strong team that has often proved they can be both efficient as well as explosive when it comes to passing attacks. And that’s what happened when the team destroyed the Jaguars by 23-7 this Sunday.

Jackson connected with Isaiah Likely, who went after the Jaguars’ two defenders, resulting in a 26-yard catch. And Charlie Kolar went on to set up the first goal with a 15-yard reception while Rashod Bateman logged back-to-back catches on the first drive of the Ravens.

Just two plays later, Gus Edwards succeeded in logging the Ravens’ second touchdown with six minutes remaining in the game. The team has now improved to 11-3 standings and tied with the 49ers for the best record in the league.
