“Will Baker Mayfield show up?” Rich Eisen calls Deshaun Watson’s trip to Bahamas the ‘world’s most awkward progressive commercial’

Deshaun Watson has made a name for himself at the highest level. The QB who will now feature for the Cleveland Browns played college football at Clemson and impressed one and all with his performances. He successfully led his team to a national championship win back in 2016.

However, lately, Watson has been in the limelight for all the wrong reasons. A lawsuit was filed against him by 22 women who accused him of harassment and sexual assault. Although a grand jury had declined to indict him in the case a while ago, he is still under NFL’s investigation.

Deshaun’s future in the league pretty much hangs in the balance at this point as he might still face a hefty ban if the NFL finds him guilty. Now, when the NFL officials are set to meet Deshaun regarding the investigation into the sexual harassment case, it has been reported that the QB is taking a few of his teammates to the Bahamas.

Talking about the same, Rich Eisen had a few points to make on The Rich Eisen Show. “Watson is flying his teammates to the Bahamas for camp Deshaun. My question is if you are Baker Mayfield, do you show up?” Eisen asked and went on to call the whole situation “world’s most awkward progressive commercial.

By the way, Baker did this with his teammates in Austin, Texas and now Deshaun is like ‘Bahamas everyone.’ But if you are Baker Mayfield, what do you do? You don’t show up there, you show up for minicamp, that’s where you show up,” Eisen stated.

It will be interesting to see who finally gets to join Deshaun’s camp because it is pretty clear that he isn’t carrying the whole team. As reported by ESPN, he might take only a lucky few among the ones who are a part of the team’s offense with him.
