“He’s edgy Tua, I need salty Tua,” Rich Eisen makes a massive claim about Tua Tagovailoa’s current situation amidst Dolphins’ tampering scandal

“He’s edgy Tua, I need salty Tua,” Rich Eisen makes a massive claim about Tua Tagovailoa’s current situation amidst Dolphins’ tampering scandal

Tua Tagovailoa has been the talk of the NFL all through the offseason, not through his own fault but because of his new teammate Tyreek Hill, who heaped praises on him following his move to the Miami Dolphins. However, this time the quarterback is yet again the centre of attraction not due to Hill, but because of the Miami Dolphins’ tampering scandal.

The Dolphins were found to be in violation of the league’s policies pertaining to the integrity of the game, as their owner Stephen Ross contacted Tom Brady to join the franchise once in 2019, when he was under contract with the Patriots and then once again after the 2021 season when Brady was under contract with the Buccaneers.

All of this has given rise to speculations regarding the Dolphins’ confidence in Tua Tagovailoa to play as the starting quarterback for the franchise. This led popular NFL podcast holder, Rich Eisen to take note of Tagovailoa’s current condition after hearing the news related to Tom Brady and the tampering scandal.

Eisen claimed that if he was Tua Tagovailoa at the moment he would question what his role is at the moment, even after the praises he received from Tyreek Hill.

Rich Eisen said, “But if I’m Tua, I’m like, ‘What gives? Okay, so I’m working my a** off. I don’t know if you heard, but I broke my hip. I rehabbed, you drafted me anyway. I don’t know if you heard, but Tyreek Hill thinks I’m the most accurate passer in the league. What gives?'”

The quarterback himself was quizzed on what he thought of the issue earlier this week and claimed that he did not know much about what happened within the franchise before 2019 since he had only joined the franchise in 2020.

“I would say everyone heard about it yesterday when we went into the locker room, seen it on the TV,” Tagovailoa said. “For me, I have no idea about all the details other than what was shown on TV with the $1.5 million fine and then something happening with Brady. I mean, I don’t know all the details. I don’t even know what happened. But I got to talk to a couple of the guys to kind of find out what was going on, and everyone’s wondering the same thing. So not too sure.”
