Rob Gronkowski and Julian Edelman gave New England Patriots fans a lot to cheer for during their time with the team. Gronkowski played for the Patriots for nine seasons and won three Super Bowls. Similarly, Edelman played for them for 12 seasons and won three Super Bowls. Both these players played key roles in the Patriots dynastic teams of the 2010s.

Although Edelman finished his career with the Patriots in 2020, Gronkowski joined his former QB Tom Brady in Tampa Bay Buccaneers for a couple of seasons, winning one Super Bowl. He retired from professional football in 2021 with the Bucs. However, both the former Patriots had nothing but positive words for the city of Boston and their time in New England with the Patriots.

It was fun dude. I would not change a thing. I would not change a thing,”It was the best times of our life. And the best part about it was the whole city of Boston, the whole area of New England, hands down the best sports town in, I would say the whole world.

Edelman also chimed in with his experience playing in New England:

That was a great city to play for. That was the best... As far as being a pro sport town. We watched the Red Sox win a World Series, we watched the Bruins win a [Stanley] Cup... I was there early when the Celtics did it.

Both Gronkowski and Edelman have had stellar careers. The tight end was selected to the Pro Bowl 5 times whereas the wide receiver was named Super Bowl MVP in 2019 against the Los Angeles Rams.

When you get to TV, you're gonna switch it up a little bit Tom. You've got to make the story sound better than it is.

Gronkowski and Brady won four Super Bowls together. They spent most of their time in New England, winning three Super Bowls with the Patriots. Both of them joined the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2020 and won a Super Bowl in their first year there.
