On Monday, the former Pittsburgh Steelers running back Rashard Mendenhall created a controversy by posting racist messages on his social media profile.

The former NFL quarterback took to social media to call out Mendenhall’s racist rant. He posted a minute-long video on his profile and called Rashard Mendenhall a dumb*** over his stance.
This is the tweet of a dumba**. Don't be a dumba***. Your prejudice, discriminatory, racial ideologies would set us back centuries. We don't want to go back to the old times. I don't wanna participate in the segregation bowl.said Griffin in his video
But, Robert Griffin III also said that even the 3rd string all-Black team would beat the all-White team by multiple scores. He also said that Patrick Mahomes would play for the all-Black team in the racial bowl game, despite him being biracial.
Nonetheless, Mendenhall is receiving a lot of criticism from fans over his take. But, the former NFL players including Will Compton, J.J. Watt, and A.J. Hawk brushed off the racist post by joking about it.
Mendenhall said that he was sick of ‘average’ white guys, who are not even good at football talking and criticizing NFL players. He also implied that he is a better football player than Tom Brady.
