They say “silence is the best answer to all the questions,” as it was for New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft when asked about head coach Bill Belichick‘s future with the franchise. The team’s performance is deteriorating season by season, putting the head coach’s position in jeopardy.
After dominating the league for two whole decades, the team has fallen to a 3-10 record this season. As a result, the Patriots are ranked at the bottom of the AFC East with no hope of making it to the postseason.

With that being said, the pressure on the legendary head coach, Belichick, is surely touching the sky. So far, the franchise has been lenient, as the Patriots won all six Super Bowl titles under Belichick.
We like to win, so we want to do everything we can to get our team back so we can be winning.Kraft later said
However, this time it seemed like the final call for the head coach. In a conversation with Pat McAfee on ESPN College GameDay, Kraft remained silent when McAfee not-so-subtly hinted at Belichick’s potential departure from the Patriots.
I don’t envy your position. What’s about to happen. We all know. We don't have to ask.To which McAfee bluntly responded
Even though McAfee implied Belichick’s uncertain head coach position in a very obvious way, the Patriots owner decided not to respond and let his silence tell the story.
Robert Kraft grateful for HC Bill Belichick’s loyalty to the Patriots
Before the topic of head coach Belichick’s future with the Patriots came into question, Kraft talked about the value of being committed and how much the team needed the Week 14 victory.
He emphasized how much loyalty means for him and his franchise, appreciating those key people who have been with the Patriots for a long time, giving their best.

We’ve had a head coach Belichick that has been with us for 24 years … He’s the longest-serving head coach. He said
Under him, the Patriots ruled the NFL for two decades by winning the highest number of Super Bowl wins (tied with the Pittsburgh Steelers).
After a poor season, the Patriots scored the much-needed victory in the Thursday Night Football game, where they defeated the Steelers 21-18. In light of all the backlash that head coach Belichick faced, safety Jabrill Peppers dedicated the victory to him.
