“SCARY” – Russell Wilson’s concussion has NFL fans in deep distress over the QB’s condition

It is a bad time to be a fan of the Denver Broncos, the team was expected to be in the Super Bowl this season. However, their season has been extremely short-lived as the team has not even been able to make the playoffs this season. In the game against the Kansas City Chiefs, in which Denver was blown out not just in terms of score but also from playoff contention.
Despite the Broncos losing the game, the highlight of this game was Russell Wilson. The quarterback suffered a horrific fall and was immediately placed in concussion protocol. Wilson may not have had the best season this year, but after yesterday’s injury, fans were just concerned for the quarterback.
Russell Wilson ran the ball on a 3rd and 11 play with 12:07 left in the game. He was chased by Frank Clark and tackled by him. When Russell Wilson went down, his head hit the floor hard, and was down on the field for some time. As soon as the play happened, his teammates understood the gravity of the situation and rushed to the QBs rescue.
The medical staff for the Broncos was out on the field immediately. Brett Rypien, the backup quarterback for the team, began to waste no time in warming up to step in, as they knew Russ was going to be out after that horrific fall. To make matters worse, Wilson’s forehead swole up to the right where a bump was seen protruding.

When the camera zooms in upon Russell Wilson’s eyes when he is down, the image is rather concerning. The quarterback’s eyes looked shaky and they clearly indicate that the body was in shock. He struggled to get up immediately after the hit, but with the assistance of the trainers; he was up on his feet and, fortunately, was able to walk on his own.
Russ has been put in concussion protocol. The primary concern now is the impact that he suffered as a result of this play. Despite having a helmet on, he ended up with a prominent bump. Hopefully, Wilson can recover quickly and get his mind right after this unfortunate play.
