WATCH: “He is done in Denver” – Broncos’ offensive linesmen giving up on Russell Wilson after he got sacked instigates mixed reactions on social media
It seems the Broncos O-line is sick of Russell Wilson.

Is Russell Wilson done in Denver? It would appear so as after the Denver Broncos 26-23 loss to the New England Patriots rendered the team 7-8 on the season and will need to win the remaining two games in the season in order to have a shot to make the playoffs.
Russell Wilson completed 25 of 37 passes while throwing for 238 yards and 2 touchdowns. However, one play during the game spoke volumes about how the QB is perceived by his teammates in the locker room.
In the 3rd quarter, with under 9 minutes left in the game, the Broncos were on offense and had possession of the ball. Wilson ended up scrambling around the pocket, hopelessly looking for a wideout to throw to but ended up getting sacked on the 3rd & 8 play.
Normally, when a quarterback is sacked, his teammates on the field, the offensive linemen, rush to his rescue to help him up. But this time around, the Broncos locker room chemistry was on full display because nobody, literally no lineman, even bothered to take a step towards helping Wilson get back up.
Russell Wilson is done in Denver.

Look at this play. His offensive line looks at him on the ground, following a sack… and they just walk away.
He’s DONE. pic.twitter.com/Yf0aGHTLnU
Could fans have seen the last of Russell Wilson in a Broncos jersey?
All of his linemen just began to walk off the field. One of them looked back but did not help him and continued to just go towards the sidelines. This has to be ridiculous if you are the Broncos, because it clearly signifies a lack of respect for the quarterback.
Fans on X were shocked that this is what Russell Wilson has become and could not believe what they witnessed on this play:
It’s not being dramatic. It’s body language. 3 players looked at him and 3 players turned around and said “meh he’s good”

Runs right into that sack. They’ve seen that happen too many times

Can’t draft one early on. They decided to win too many games.

100% dude just spun himself around into a sack. He’s been scrambling into sacks all year.

Watching him panic in a clean pocket time after time and then casuals on Twitter blame the coaching and the Oline every week is hilarious.

Russ is cooked. Has been for three years. Paton should be held accountable.
It was such an avoidable sack

The Denver Broncos should be concerned about Russell Wilson. He has improved this year when compared to last season, but the team still has a lot of positions to get better at winning games and ensure that they get a return on their massive investment in Russell Wilson.
