“He looks HOMELESS”: Tom Brady claps back at Ryan Fitzpatrick for FALSELY accusing him of hating him

Ryan Fitzpatrick‘s record against Tom Brady just fell to 12-3. The former Miami Dolphins quarterback had claimed earlier last week that the Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback had no amount of respect for him whatsoever. Ryan was convinced that Tom was making a veiled reference to him in an interview that took place in 2019, though speculations and some amount of evidence suggest the person in question was Derek Carr.

Ryan Fitzpatrick made it clear that Tom Brady and he do not have a good relationship as the NFL legend tends to get on his nerves and just “pisses him off”. He believed there was no respect shown whatsoever toward him by Brady. However, the Bucs quarterback in the most recent episode of the Let’s Go podcast denied these claims and stated he had no hate toward Fitzpatrick.

“Ryan and I need to have a talk”: Tom Brady denies referring to Ryan Fitzpatrick during the interview.

Tom set the record straight and confirmed he had nothing but love and respect toward Ryan Fitzpatrick but the former quarterback tends to assume otherwise and he has no clue why. “Let’s talk about Ryan (Fitzpatrick). I love Ryan, but for some reason, he’s got it out for me. I actually talked to Ryan Griffin, who’s one of our quarterbacks, and he said, ‘Ryan’s always all over you. I don’t know why.’ So I don’t know why Ryan is,” he went on to add that the two may need to talk it out to avoid any misunderstandings and to convince Fitzpatrick that there is no ill will toward him on Tom’s part.

“Maybe Ryan and I need to have a talk. Ryan’s a hell of a guy. I’ve competed against him. He’s a Harvard guy. He looks like he’s part homeless. And now he’s on TV doing what my future job’s gonna be. So I think Ryan’s got a good thing going. I’m not sure why he needs to think that I’m after him or something like that,” Tom concludes.

Tom Brady also confirmed that it was not Fitzpatrick to whom he was referring in the episode of ‘The Shop’ in 2019 where he called the quarterback of a team that had reportedly shown a lot of interest in trading for him initially but chickened out at the last moment. “I like to keep ’em guessing. Unfortunately with this coming out, I’d have to tell him, it wasn’t him,” Tom stated.

Ryan Fitzpatrick seemed to be convinced of the fact that it was him that Tom was making a reference to as the Miami Dolphins were actively involved in an attempt to get Tom to the team in 2019, first in the role of a player and then initially as a part owner. However, that did not work out and once the NFL found out that the Dolphins were engaged in talks with Brady when they were not supposed to, the league punished the team by forcing it to forfeit its first round-pick for 2023 and a third-round pick of 2024 respectively. Owner Stephen Ross was suspended till October 17th and was made to pay up over a million dollars as a fine.

Tom Brady is speculated to have been referring to Derek Carr, the Las Vegas Raiders quarterback in that interview as from the revelations of Rob Gronkowski and Dana White, Jon Gruden and the team had almost closed a deal that would have got Tom and Rob to Vegas, however, it fell apart at the last moment because of Gruden. This led to Tom thinking that he was being overlooked for Derek Carr. Considering that Brady set the record straight with Fitzpatrick almost immediately after his speculations that he was the one being referred to in that conversation, it seems almost certain that Carr was the player in question as Brady never addressed it publicly or gave us any idea to think that it was not him.
