Aaron Rodgers trade saga is finally coming to an end. The Packers QB has indicated towards moving to New York and playing his final couple of seasons with the Jets.
The speculated Rodgers to the Jets deal will be the biggest NFL deal of the season. A-Rod is one of the best QBs in the league and will offer a lot to the Jets who are currently struggling massively in the QB department.
Rodgers has taken the decision after loads of speculation since the start of the the offseason. However, there’s also a certain Jets player who should get some of the credit for Rodgers potential move to the Jets.
Jets CB Sauce Gardner recently took to Twitter to share the link to a YouTube video posted on his channel and captioned it by saying “This is the video that did it y’all.”
Gardner made the first attempt to sway Rodgers in joining the Jets. The CB tweeted “Aye [Rodgers] I promise if you become a Jet, I won’t pick you off in practice & I’ll burn the cheesehead,” the cheesehead is the mascot of the Green Bay Packers and Gardner wore it on his head after the Jets were victorious against the Packers.
Gardner later did another thing to sway the Packers QB to the Jets and actually uploaded a video of him burning the cheesehead on YouTube. The video later gained thousands of views.

Aaron Rodgers is one step closer to joining the Jets and even shared his desire to move to New York on the recent edition of the Pat McAfee Show. This made Sauce Gardner put out the latest tweet crediting himself for the potential move.
Gardner posted a YouTube video with the caption, “So many Jets fans want Aaron Rodger to become a New York Jet & I told him i’ll burn the Cheesehead if he became a Jet, so I’m manifesting it for the fans that want that by burning the Cheesehead before he makes his decision!”
the video also included Jets RB Breece Hall and WR Garrett Wilson who joined Gardner for the infamous cheesehead burning ceremony. The video ultimately was an ode to Rodgers who is highly respected by the Jets players and they want to see the Super Bowl winner in their colours as soon as possible.
