“The f**k you bother me,” Shannon Sharpe confronts Jay Pharoah on his DISAPPOINTING impersonation of the TE
Shannon Sharpe was not happy with Jay Pharoah's impression of him
Jay Pharoah has risen to fame and gained a reputation for his popular impersonations of your favorite celebrities. The actor, stand-up comedian, and impressionist recently appeared on former Denver Broncos tight end and Hall of Fame Shannon Sharpe‘s podcast, Club Shay Shay.
He spoke in depth about his life, and how he got into impersonating America’s favorite personalities. Jay had impersonated Shannon Sharpe early on in his career. However, the FOX Sports analyst did not appreciate it and confronted the entertainer on that. Shannon asked Jay, “You probably started doing me a decade ago, why the fu*k you bother me?”
Jay spoke his mind and explained how things went down. “They wrote it and I saw it but I don’t think it was that good at first. I didn’t have anything funny to say, so I had to exaggerate the mannerisms…same thing with Stephen A. Smith…at first, it was me trying to get used to it.”

Jay Pharoah botched up his impersonation of Shannon Sharpe as he did not have enough time:
The entertainer became popular when he was on Saturday Night Live. He has been impersonating celebrities from the young age of 6! Jay Pharoah had impersonated Shannon Sharpe in SNL’s skit from 8 years back titled CNN State of the Union: NFL in Crisis. This skit was based on the Ray Rice situation when he was under public scrutiny for his domestic violence charges.
Pharoah was not able to pull out the best impression as he just exaggerated the tight end’s behavior. It was not his most memorable moment either. However, given that Jay did not have enough time to get his impression right, it makes sense.
