Shannon Sharpe is a former professional American football tight end who played for the Broncos and the Ravens. After a successful career in the league, Sharpe is currently enjoying success in his second career as a sports analyst for the Fox Sports Network. He is working as a co-host of the Fox Sports shows UNDISPUTED with long-time NFL columnist Skip Bayless.

The duo is known for the over-the-top, fiery, and passionate debates about professional sports, mainly NFL and the NBA. During one such segment, the former Broncos tight end, Sharpe, once revealed that he once paid for a woman’s divorce because he believed that she was the one for him.

“I was once dating this chick Skip, and she was married when she was getting a divorce. I knew I wanted her. I said, You know what? I’ll pay for the divorce because I believed she was the one,” said Sharp on the show.

This segment apparently happened during the 2022 off-season. He never spoke about that woman ever again on the show. In fact, no one knows who that woman is, but now the video of him bragging about paying for the woman’s divorce is resurfacing on social media almost a year after this segment’s initial airing, which did not sit well with the Broncos icon.

Shannon Sharpe is not happy about the year-old video of him resurfacing on social media. A Twitter account named Black Millionaires posted the old video on their feed, which has received over 2.3 million views. Sharped clapped back at them for posting the old video and accused them of receiving the money to do it.

“When I originally said this you didn’t repost it now months and months after the fact. You repost it now. The clown(s) that paid you to repost it should get their money bck because I promise you and them it’s not having the impact they think. WE’RE GOOD OVER HERE,” tweeted Sharpe.

It is unsure who Sharpe is referring to as the “clown(s) that paid” the money to get that video trending on social media. Besides, old clips of Sharpe resurface all the time on social media. So what ticked off him in this particular instance? And who’s ‘we’ in “We’re good over here”?

There are a lot of questions that everyone needs an answer to, but maybe in the future, Sharpe will explain more about the situation. Nevertheless, the Twitter account that originally posted the video has already refused the claims of accepting money to post that particular video and the issue seems to be over for now.
