Shannon Sharpe is a former tight end who played in the league for 14 seasons. The Hall of Famer is now an analyst and co-host of Undisputed with veteran journalist Skip Bayless. The duo is a fan favorite and is known for its unique takes on the daily happening in the NFL and NBA.

While talking, things sometimes go off-track and the two share some details about their private lives, which is extremely juicy content for the fans. Once, Shannon Sharpe revealed he paid for a woman’s divorce so that he could date her.

Sharpe said, “I was once dating this chick Skip, and she was married when she was getting a divorce. I knew I wanted her. I said, You know what? I’ll pay for the divorce, because I believed she was the one. That’s what I did, I said. Why are you arguing about this? He wouldn’t sign the paper. I say, Why are you arguing about this little bit of money? I gave him the money, filed the divorce.. I did that!“

This was really desperate of Shannon Sharpe. The former Denver Broncos superstar never talked about the woman ever again. The details of the woman are unknown and whether Shannon is dating her right now is also not public information. What a thing to share on national television!

Sharpe did, however, love to criticize Tom Brady for every game he lost or when he had a bad performance. The 7x Super Bowl champion never filed a defamation lawsuit against him, but former Packers great Brett Favre wasn’t as benevolent as Brady.

On February 10, 2023, Shannon Sharpe, along with Pat McAfee, was slapped with a defamation lawsuit by Brett Favre. The Green Bay legend has been in and out of the headlines since 2021 for the Mississippi Welfare Scam.

Sharpe called Brett Favre a “sleazeball” during one of the tapings of Undisputed and said the Hall of Fame quarterback stole $1.1 million in Mississippi welfare payments for speeches he was supposed to give but never did. Favre’s lawyer said in a statement, “Shannon Sharpe and Pat McAfee tried to enhance their careers by fabricating unsubstantiated defamation charges against Brett Favre.” The 3x Super Bowl champion hasn’t addressed the lawsuit or given any update on the situation.
