January 16 is going to be a full circle for Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Dallas Cowboys as one of them is going to go home and the other will continue their Super Bowl run. Tom Brady and the Bucs faced the Cowboys in the season-opening game and defeated them 19-3. Now, the Bucs are looking to do the same.
Talking about Dallas, they had a great start to the season and showed real promise to be the No.1 seed, but then, like always, all went downhill. Dak Prescott threw career-high 15 interceptions this season, and the offense doesn’t look like it can hold its own as they head into the postseason.
Tampa Bay, on the other hand, seemed to have gotten a wake-up in the last few weeks of the regular season, as they managed to clinch the NFC South with a little help from the remaining teams that kept on losing their matchups. Tom Brady and Mike Evans’s combo finally connected in the Carolina Panthers game, which gave the Bucs’ front office and the fans some relief that the two haven’t lost their chemistry.

Tom Brady is undefeated against the Dallas Cowboys

Speaking on Undisputed about his beloved Dallas Cowboys, Skip Bayless said that there is zero pressure on Tom Brady to defeat the Cowboys, given his unbeaten record against the club. “It feels to me like the GOAT is in the cat bird’s seat,” Skip said, talking about Brady. “because nobody really expects that much of him. He is 7-0 lifetime against my Cowboys.”
Tom Brady has faced the Dallas Cowboys seven times in his career, which spanned over two decades and two teams. He has a passer rating of 95.0 against them, having thrown for 1,945 yards, 15 touchdowns, and 5 interceptions. Skip Bayless added that there is a special reason why Brady loves to defeat the Cowboys. “I believe that deep down he loves to stick it to America’s team, which is actually Hollywood’s team and he doesn’t like Hollywood. He loves to stick it to Jerry Jones,” Skip proclaimed.
Bayless also added that Tom Brady is coming off a great game. While the do-or-die game against Carolina Panthers, the 45-year-old threw for 432 yards, 3 touchdowns, and rushed for 1 touchdown. This, coupled with his history against the Cowboys, Skip believes people won’t expect much of Brady because they already know he is going to win the game.
And given the game the Cowboys are coming off, it won’t be a stretch to say that they are crazy scared of facing the veteran quarterback with 35 playoff wins. Bucs vs Cowboys is surely going to be a nail-biting matchup and one of the most interesting games of the Super Wild Card weekend.
