Skip Bayless admits the Cowboys got outplayed by the Seahawks despite 41-35 win
The analyst was honest enough to admit that if this were last season or even the start of this season, the Cowboys would have blown the game and lost it.

This week’s Thursday Night Football was thrilling, fascinating, entertaining, and nail-biting. It was the first game in a long time wherein there were no punts, only the fifth time in NFL history in fact. The Dallas Cowboys came on top at the end of the night, beating the Seattle Seahawks. However, despite the team’s 41-35 victory, Skip Bayless did not get the taste of victory last night.
He described the Cowboys win last night as America’s team “pulling an Eagles” which means the team barely won the game by inches. Skip Bayless continued and said,
Was Dallas lucky last night? Yes.Skip Bayless on Undisputed
He attributed a part of the reason for the team’s victory to lady luck. The analyst believes the Cowboys overlooked the Seahawks and did not expect them to put up as tough of a performance as they did last night.
The reason for this being, the Cowboys have their heads set on next week’s matchup against divisional rivals, the Philadelphia Eagles. The team is so eager to play in that game and beat Philly that they overlooked the Seahawks and that was a big mistake. Geno Smith was hot from the start of the game last night and D.K. Metcalf, along with Tyler Lockett, showed Dallas why they should not be taken for granted.

Skip Bayless went on to state,
In the end my team did everything it had to under fire, with odds stacked against it....my team kept making play after 4th quarter play.
He credited America’s team for hanging in there and finishing the game strong. The analyst was honest enough to admit that if this were last season or even the start of this season, the Cowboys would have blown the game and lost it.
Skip further said,
I'll be the first to admit the Cowboys got outplayed by the Seahawks yesterday. They would've lost the game last year. They found themselves.
Dallas won the game on the heels of Dak Prescott‘s 299-yard game with 3 touchdowns. Geno Smith cost the Seahawks the game with his 1 interception but he did have a great game having thrown for 3 TDs, 334 yards, and 1 rushing TD.

Ultimately, a win is a win, and Dallas won that game last night. The team’s greatest challenge that is bound to keep all the players up this week all night is their upcoming matchup against the Eagles.
The Philadelphia team has lost just one game all season and if the Cowboys can pull an upset against them, it would not just be a statement of victory for the team but also a big morale booster as the playoffs near.
