Ever since Roquan Smith requested to be traded from the Chicago Bears he has been linked with multiple teams which should not surprise anyone as he is a proven premier Middle Line Backers in a sport where players of his pedigree have been known to change team fortunes and any team would benefit by having Smith on their roster. The latest team Smith is being linked to is the Dallas Cowboys.

Bayless passionately lobbied for the Cowboys to trade for Roquan Smith which started with a question to his co-host Hall of Fame Tight End Shanon Sharpe-“Would Roquan Smith scare Shanon Sharpe?”

Sharpe and Bayless both agreed that-“YES HE WOULD.

Bayless believes that the presence of Micah Parson who he calls “11 from heaven” will lead the Cowboys as the focal point of their team which has always been an offense-oriented team. Sharpe and Bayless discussed the problems associated with Roquan Smith such as a lack of proper representation and the Bears’ reluctance to part with Smith which might jack up the price.

Bayless added that edge rushers like Micah Parsons are hard to find and “they don’t grow on Southern California palm trees.” He argued that Parsons who had been part-timing as a linebacker should be freed to play his natural position which would be helped by acquiring Roquan Smith.

Cowboys have some 20 odd million in cap space and Skip argued that the Cowboys use some of that money on acquiring and signing Roquan Smith. He ended his argument with-“Do it Jerry, makes sense.”
