“Cowboys fans should be emboldened,” Skip Bayless optimistic about Dallas Cowboys’ season even after a hard-fought victory against the struggling Texans

Dallas Cowboys faced the Houston Texans on Sunday. Cowboys fans expected their team to blow out the Texans, but the Texans didn’t go down without a fight. They even managed to make it an interesting game. The Cowboys eventually ended up winning the game 27-23, but the struggle has left a sour taste among Dallas fans.

While many Dallas fans are worried about their team’s ugly outing against the Texans, Lifelong Cowboys fan and Renowned Tv personality, Skip Bayless said that the Cowboys fans should be emboldened by what they saw. “Cowboys fans, You should be emboldened by what you saw yesterday,” said Bayless on his Twitter wall.

Speaking on Undisputed with Shannon Sharpe, Skip Bayless said that the cowboys started great and ended even greater. Bayless admitted that he saw many things that were ‘troubling to the point of revolting’ as a Cowboys fan, but also acknowledged that it is very hard to win games in the NFL.

Bayless went on to imply that the Cowboys not only overlooked the Texans but also overlooked their next opponent Jaguars so they can concentrate on their NFC East division rivals Philadelphia Eagles, who they will be facing on Christmas Eve. “My team is looking ahead, to a fault, to Christmas eve,” said Bayless

Skip Bayless showed some love to the Texans’ head coach Lovie Smith, saying that he called a masterful game. “He called a masterful game, given what he had to work with,” said Bayless. He ended the segment by admitting that he is a terribly objective Cowboys fan and while there is some good scar tissue out of this game, he is going to glorify in the Baker-Esque 98-yard drive finish to the game.

Even though the victory against the Texans wasn’t a sweet one, Cowboys fans had all the reason to celebrate, thanks to a clutch performance from their quarterback Dak Prescott, who led a 98-yard game-winning drive to close the game on Sunday.

The Cowboys’ offense and Special teams looked absolutely awful to start the game and the 17-point favorites quickly found themselves in trouble against the 1-10-1 Texans. The Texans threw everything they had in the offense and were constantly finding success against the Cowboys’ defense. They finally ran out of steam in the 4th quarter as the Cowboys’ defense made a goal-line stop to get the ball back to their offense.

After getting the ball back late in the 4th quarter, Dak Prescott went into beast mode, delivering a Clutch 98-yard game-winning drive to avoid a massive upset. This was Dak Prescott’s 18th career game-winning drive, the second most in franchise history.

In the end, it all worked out for Dallas as they secured the win over the Texans, but they would like to erase this game from their memory before facing Trevor Lawrence and Jacksonville Jaguars this weekend.
