The Carolina Panthers fans have enjoyed a brilliant off-season far. The franchise made a lot of brilliant moves and now has found their future franchise quarterback since they drafted Alabama QB Bryce Young with the first overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft. During a recent episode of the Fox Sports show, UNDISPUTED, Skip Bayless gave his two cents about the Carolina-based football team selecting Bryce Young to lead their team in the future.

“A fresh face in Carolina, Bryce Young. They paid a steep price for him and it will be worth every last ounce,” said Bayless. “He has extraordinary poise and command of the position and it’s the hardest position by far to play in all of sports, he commands it, he owns it when he plays it. He has superior vision and anticipation and feel for how to anticipate the rush and the receivers breaking open.”

Just a few hours before the draft, a rumor was spreading around the league that the Panthers might draft the Kentucky QB Will Levis with their first overall pick. However, in the end, the Panthers arguably made the right decision by drafting Young.

Apart from drafting the highly touted Bryce Young as their future signal-caller, the Carolina Panthers have also made a lot of remarkable moves in the 2023 off-season. The Panthers lost their premium wide receiver, D. J. Moore, in their pursuit of the Bama QB. To replace Moore’s production, the Panthers added WR Adam Thielen and WR DJ Chark in the 2023 NFL free agency.

Furthermore, they also added tight end Hayden Hurst and running back Miles Sanders to beef up their offensive unit. In addition, the Panthers drafted the Mississippi wideout Jonathan Mingo with their 39th overall pick. The Panthers defensive unit has been great in the past 2 seasons and they will continue to get better in the upcoming seasons.

The Panthers have certainly become a better team in the 2023 off-season and they will look to add some pieces to their roster on Day 3 of the NFL Draft. And with the former Tampa Bay Buccaneers QB Tom Brady‘s retirement, the NFC South division has become wide open and the Bryce Young-led Panthers certainly have a shot at winning the division and claiming a playoff spot.
