Pete Davidson is a highly polarizing comedian. One can either love him or completely hate him. The SNL star was invited to the Pro Bowl, where many other celebrities had also come.

The Pro Bowl has become decreasingly popular each season and last year it collected the least views ever. Therefore, the league decided to change a few rules for this season.

Instead of playing normal football, the NFL started flag football with two teams coached by brothers Eli Manning and Peyton Manning. To further increase the Pro Bowl popularity, the league also invited many celebrities to give out awards for various competitions held and get as much reach as they can.

Snoop Dogg was present along with Pete Davidson, who was invited to give out the best catch during the Pro Bowl games. However, Davidson’s visit was met with repulsive views on social media.

Davidson also gave an interview to Robert Griffin where he spoke about the players playing the game and what is his purpose in the Pro Bowl event.
“These guys are huge and very, very nice. It’s just cool, man, it’s a surreal thing to be at. I’m having a really great time,” Davidson stated to Robert Griffin. “Pretty much I dress Eli. He wore it in the locker room, and when he came out, he took it off and that really hurt my feelings. But, yeah, my job is just not being in the way.”

Davidson is famous for his wacky jokes and offbeat comedy. Sometimes, his humor is a bit adult-friendly, which has led him to be hated by many on social media.

NFL Twitter quickly reprimanded the 29-year-old for visiting the Super Bowl event and even roasted him for the way he was going about it. In a video uploaded by the NFL Twitter page, Pete Davidson is seen holding a 69 card and giving a sly smile to the camera.

While the comedian thought it was funny, many didn’t agree with his assessment and brutally trolled him on social media. Pete Davidson became a laughingstock on Twitter as many took shots at him. Take a look at some of the reactions down below.

The NFL Pro Bowl’s popularity is continuously decreasing, just like Pete Davidson’s relevance on social media. Soon, the league will have to make SOS decisions to make up for this All-Star affair that happens every season.
